Back to the ladder…

So I’m back to Nashville, my own bed, and the house painting ladder after six weeks of suitcase living. It’s good to be home. Had a great time again on tour in Europe and glad to be back to the fresh air, physical work, and the southern pace and quiet.

Musically… my song “Tell Me (You’re the One)” is still a Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. I should find out soon if I win any guitar pick bling. Also…some nice CD profiles coming out in No Depression and Harp magazines in the next few weeks. What else??? I’m heading down to Chapel Hill, North Carolina to do a couple shows and meet the folks at Redeye distribution about getting Haymaker Heart out to the world. I have already signed a digital distro deal with them, so you will be able to get my catalog from i-tunes etc.. for those living in the computer world. Oh… and XM satellite radio has also just added Haymaker Heart to their Americana playlist.

That’s about it…I’m going to be recording some new/old tunes with Teddy Morgan over the next six weeks and we’ll see if that becomes the foundation for the next album. Always on to the next thing…

Okay…into hibernation mode for this over-socialized boy…
In peace,
KP
