City At Night

Hello music friends!

I’ve just wrapped up recording my eighth album, City At Night. Had a ball working on my first all-Indiana project with Paul Mahern producing in Bloomington. We’re at the album artwork stage now and I’m hoping to have the new music ready to release by November 25th (holiday season). I’ve been driving around listening to the new tunes in the car and I’m very happy with the results. It’s an odd feeling knowing that only the boss-lady, my publisher and band-mates have heard the new album. Looking forward to sharing these new sounds and I will definitely have an early pre-order City At Night album option for you ASAP.

In preparation for the new release, I’ve been getting my entire album catalog uploaded to Bandcamp. I’m finding their music service to be the most artist friendly. And as my albums slowly start going out of print, I love that I can still offer people high quality digital download options to go along with remaining CD’s and vinyl. And FYI, for you CD lovers, my first two Trailer Records albums, Johnson County Snow and House of Mud are almost out of stock and gone for good. Here are the Bandcamp links below to all my available albums. Now would be a good time to make sure you have all my titles:)

Milk in Sunshine

Brand New Bag

Haymaker Heart

House of Mud

Johnson County Snow

And I have a couple upcoming shows on the books. Another quarterly Indy Hillbilly Happy Hour band show at The Melody Inn, Friday September 30th. Early doors at 7, show at 8:30pm. And my old Iowa City friend Dave Moore is setting up a low-key Thanksgiving weekend show at George’s Buffet, Friday November 25th. More on that gig as we suss out the IC details.

That’s all the music news for now. The next six months will be full of travel as I continue to try and keep up with the boss lady! I’ll be heading to Milan, Prague, Seattle, Los Angeles, Iowa City, Mexico, Cuba and Vietnam. Happy I’m still able to fit some new songs/music into the small open slots of a very full life. Will let you know the moment you can pre-order the new City At Night album.
