Nashville

So I’m off now on a new life adventure and I’m having a crazy case of deja vu.

When I was 21, I left Iowa City for Boulder, Colorado with a 16 year old car and not a lot of dough in my pocket. Now, 15 years later, I have just a bit more dough and a 13 year old van that’s been run pretty hard the past few years. Just like me. But I am older, wiser, and have a lot more songs this time out. It occurs to me that I’m currently living the ultimate country cliche….a guitar case full of songs and heartbreak. Where else but Nashville would I go?

Funny thing is I have no idea what lies around the next corner. Quite literally no idea. Job, house, music… I must somehow thrive on this type of imbalance as I’m getting used to my suitcase and van. I do hope to have a physical address sometime soon.

For you folks ordering CDs. Best to use a credit/debit card right now. I’m not taking mail orders….but you can email me via the contacts page and we can work something out if you’re allergic to the plastic.

That’s about it for this internet cafe…my times almost up. I’ll keep ya posted from music city. KP
